Several changes were made to the wings to allow for the accurate alignment of the jet engine. Used the photos from the Duxford trip to help out.
Also did some work on the fuselage below in preperation for the undercarriage which I will work on tommorrow.

ReplyDeleteTatman, the success of this project will lie in the attention to detail and the layers of interest. The Concorde is an iconic shape, but to be honest, it's not very interesting. To make it so, I would suggest opening up access panels in the engine bays, making the undercarriage wells full detailed, the control surfaces drooping etc... anything to break up the pointy biro effect.
Then surround it with interesting things like access ladders and platforms, too carts, equipment, lighting rigs and so on.
Then arrange everything in an interesting way so that you break up as much of the straight lines and box effect as possible.
At the moment everything you have is rectangles boxes and tubes.
Also, do not have completely symmetrical mirroring!
